Kind of like doordash but for your supermarket. It sounds like the instacart shopper was charging up extra items for themselves/to sell and hoping OP didnt notice. I'd cancel too. It's a trust based relationship from my point of view and they hired someone who violated it. Instacart would have to earn my trust back somehow and that would be hard.

I accepted an Instacart order and they messaged me right away. They wanted me to contact their wife to add on an item - using my personal number.

I was trying to be a helpful shopper and so I called using instacart. It gives you a message to unsubscribe from being called press 1 don't press 1.
