Same experience here. Camera will never re-connect whenever my router is reset. Always have to delete doorbell from the app and re-install. Many times when re-installing, the doorbell camera does not read the scan code and I have to try and try over and over for it to finally respond to the code. That actually sounds like the camera is repeatedly trying to reboot, but is failing. Have you already tried a hard reset, by pressing the button on the top for 16 seconds, then reinstalling through the app?
