These blades DESTROY bosses. I struggled a bit in the first 2 hours, died like 4 times to Vordt, but from that point onwards, I haven't died more than 3 times to a boss. If you're going physical, you'd be far better off going minimum STR requirement and 80 DEX with sharp twinblades. They're probably going for that so they can use any weapon for PvE.
